With baby boomers nearing retirement and the economy in a downturn, the demand for financial advisers is on the rise. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that jobs for financial planners will rise by 41% between 2006 and 2016.
To become a certified financial planner, you need a bachelors degree, 3 years of work experience, and the passing of a 10-hour test.
If you are good with finances, have good people skills, and are looking for a career change, this may be a good place to look.
